The Castle of Santa Severa, stunning seafront fortress  and a mix of rocky and sandy beaches lies West of Rome on the Mediterranean coast stands on the site of the etruscan port and city of Pyrghi.

Your journey begins with a guided tour of the Santa Severa Fortress, a historic site offering a glimpse into medieval life. The fortress, with its imposing walls, houses the Saracena Tower, providing a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding coast. The castle was once a vital military outpost, and within its sturdy walls, a small village developed, complete with workshops, stables, and homes for the villagers.
